I'm encountering the following error in .NET Framework 4.8 on Windows Server 2019, which I faced in 2022, when trying to select the element from ToolStripComboBox .
However, I am unable to reproduce this error in .NET Framework 4 on Windows Server 2008:
System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. AcessViolationExceptionin .NET Framework, and anExecutionEngineExceptionin NET [Core]) happens when I do something in theComboBox.SelectedValueChangedevent handler that causes recreating the form's handle (e.g. change theRightToLeftproperty). I filed an issue here with more details and a reproduction example.
