Topical context in information panel

When you search or watch videos related to topics prone to misinformation, such as the moon landing, you may see an information panel at the top of your search results or under a video you're watching.

Information panels show info, sourced from independent, third-party partners, to give more context on a topic. If you want to learn more, the panels link to the third-party partner’s website.

These information panels will show regardless of what opinions or perspectives are expressed in the video. You have the option to dismiss the information panel by selecting Don’t show this again from the panel’s menu. Once selected, you will no longer see the information panel for that topic.

Information panels may not be available in all countries/regions and languages. We're working to bring information panels to more countries/regions.

These information panels are not used in any decisions about monetization. Learn more about our Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines.
