Converting Oracle Database Installations to Oracle RAC Using DBCA

To convert from a single-instance Oracle Database that is on a non-clustered computer to Oracle RAC, perform the procedures described in the following sections, and in the order shown:

• Use DBCA to Create an Image of the Single-Instance Database

• Complete the Oracle Clusterware Installation

• Validate the Cluster

• Copy the Preconfigured Database Image

• Install Oracle Database 12c Software with Oracle RAC
