Converting Single Instance on a Cluster to Oracle RAC One Node Using DBCA

Use DBCA to convert a single-instance Oracle Database to Oracle RAC One Node by using the following procedure:

1. Change directory to $ORACLE_HOME/bin.

2. Start DBCA:

   $ dbca
   

3. From the Welcome window, select Oracle RAC One Node database.

4. Use the template that you selected to deploy in "Install Oracle Database 12c Software with Oracle RAC"
