srvctl add mgmtdb

Adds a management database (CHM repository) resource to the cluster.

Note:

Use this command only with Oracle Clusterware.

Syntax and Parameters

Use the srvctl add mgmtdb command with the following syntax:

srvctl add mgmtdb [-___domain ___domain

Parameter Description 
-___domain ___domain

The ___domain for the database. If you have the DB_DOMAIN database initialization parameter set, then you must provide a value for this parameter.

Example

To add a management database to the cluster:

$ srvctl add mgmtdb -___domain example.com
