Use the procedure in this section to add an OCR ___location. Oracle Clusterware can manage up to five redundant OCR locations.
Note:
If OCR resides on a cluster file system file or a network file system, create an empty (0 byte) OCR ___location file before performing the procedures in this section.
As the root user, run the following command to add an OCR ___location to either Oracle ASM or other storage device:
# ocrconfig -add +asm_disk_group | file_name
Note:
On Linux and UNIX systems, you must be root to run ocrconfig commands. On Windows systems, the user must be a member of the Administrator's group.
