Converting a Non-GNS Cluster to a GNS Server Cluster

To convert a cluster that is not running GNS to a GNS server cluster, run the following command as root, providing a valid IP address and a ___domain:

# srvctl add gns -vip IP_address -___domain ___domain

Note:

  • Specifying a ___domain is not required when adding a GNS VIP.

  • The IP address you specify cannot currently be used by another GNS instance.

  • The configured cluster must have DNS delegation for it to be a GNS server cluster.
