Scholarships

DEADLINE TO APPLY: FEBRUARY 1.
 

Each spring, the Computer Science and Engineering Department offers several one-year scholarships with the intent of recognizing and encouraging excellence in the study of computing.  Eligible candidates must be a CSE, BSCIS, or BACIS major; be a rank 3 or 4; and have completed at least 15 credit hours in CSE at OSU. Some awards have GPA and additional criteria, and some of these awards are renewable.

Scholarship Universe is the portal that Ohio State uses for all scholarship applications. While only majors as described above are eligible for departmental awards, pre-majors and Rank 2 students in the major are encouraged to apply for other scholarships.

All CSE and CIS majors and pre-majors may access Scholarship Universe through  Student Financial Aid.

Filling out the FAFSA is not required for consideration but is strongly encouraged.
