Pre-CIS, BS CIS, and BA CIS Advising

As of Autumn 2024, all CIS students (whether pre-major or major) will be advised by academic advisors in the College of Arts and Sciences (ASC). Your assigned ASC advisor will be your main point of contact for all of your CIS pre-major and major needs as you move thorugh your time here at The Ohio State University.

To make an appointment with your CIS advisor, schedule an appointment using OnCourse or  e-mail askascadvising@osu.edu if you aren't sure who to contact. You should also watch for weekly e-mail updates for more information.
